My missus was looking for something similar before she decided on a Merc CLC instead. That price and spec was going for around £6-7k depending on mileage.

Try Parkers. Not 100% acurate but it'll give you an idea.

+ 1 for looking on autotrader - it gives a fairly view of what's on the market, what condition it's in and the kind of prices people are expecting you to pay.

Parkers is also fairly useful in this instance as you're looking at a private sale. Sales people tend to bite your hands off the moment you mention parkers or retort with the good old "Well we don't value our cars using parkers"....

Another good site for owners reviews is www.CarSurvey.org - impartial, no nonsense reviews (i've reviewed my past 3 cars on there)...

Hope this is of some use to you

Ebay isnt to bad either to gauge the worth. People will only pay what they want to pay.

Also try Pistonheads too. Between all of the sites mentioned you should be able to gauge the going rate for this type of car.

Remember though to subtract a bit from all of those prices (apart from ebay auctions) as there will be a "negotiated" difference between the advertised price and the actual sold price!
