having my car in the main hall too meant i was lucky enough to speak to the chap that built it when the show was closed. he purchased it as a kit and
has spent 75k and 3 rebuilds getting it to where it is today. the bodywork has been changed quite a bit and the wheels are customs made out in
america. its running a civic type r engine. he told me that the kit was really poor and took a lot of work to get it to where it is today.
i was lucky enough to get a lot lot closer than the general public and the finish on the thing is flawless.
the kit is no longer available but you can buy a turn key one for 85k although the finish wont be as good as this one.
he has moulds of all the modified body work but has no intentions of starting a business making them due to copyright issues and the fact that he
likes having such a unique car.
oh and his way of transporting it round was even better than the car. he had a special lorry converted to carry cars.

Absolutely stunning and a credit to the owner and his hard work. Must agree though £75k is big money for something with a Civic motor. My money would
be going to Ultima, equally stunning and 720 bhp for that price.

Prelude I think (H22). It was beautifully finished but I think the styling is a bit fussy, especially around the rear lights.

Saw it, thought it was very nice looking! Was intrigued by the chrome suspension rockers as well lol.

Isn't that what the lass and her dad are building in one of the build diaries in CKC? Wondered what it looked like finished.

Love reading your bits Ash. For someone like me who didn't build the whole kit, its very useful for repairs/remedial work. Well done!
