Opinions wanted
Guys,
I'm looking at two possible rear arch styles for my car body (currently making the plug)
They are pictures "arch style 1" and "arch style 2" in Alan B photo archive. One is real the other is a photo-edited option.
If anyone one would like to have a look at them and offer a preference or indeed any other comment I'd appreciate the feedback.

Hmmmmm difficult one.
I think I personally would say the first one, but with a slight adjustment to make the top of it slightly more of a sweeping curve than coming to a
point almost...
Having looked at your site for other pics of the body I reckon that'd work quite well.

Of the two I think it needs to be arch 1, or something has to be done about the front of arch 2. Have you tried it raising the rear extension of arch
1 where it touches the rear of the car?

arch 1 looks like it it comprises of 3 distinct sections across the top, with a radius being the middle one (well slightly left of top). Maybe making
it more like 1 continual sweep may improve it, but I prefer it to arch 2
PS. Most impresssive work!

Guys,
Thanks for the honesty and constructiveness so far.
As you may know or figured out arch 1 is the fake one, and as you say it's peak/apex is a little sharp and mis-centred due to being a quick edit of
arch 2.
If I do change to arch 1, which looks very likely considering the voting is unanimous so far (including me), I will be incorporating the improvements
being suggested.
I appreciate you all taking the time to comment, thanks.

i'd gop for arch 1 arch 2 has a sorta "vintage" look if u no wot i mean
but seen as ur editing is so good and to serve my curiousity wot about extending the diagonal bit at the front of the arch up to the top of the
quarter panel and blendig it in then blending the bac half of the arch to the bac panel and up to the top ..
looks alright in my head but i have the artistic sense of an ameobia

It's funny you say that, as the only two people to vote for arch 2 were my mum and mum in law

like arch 31 in my file? It's certainly different, but arch 1 is declared the winner

alan wot are you usin so that the bit between the relay arm from the suspension and the shock will pivot
i was told only a rose joint would be up to the job and would be hellishly expensive to make

I guess you mean the bellcrank. It's pivoted on a teflon inpregnated steel backed bronze bushing with a maximum load rating of around 12000 kg.
Should be fine by my calculations.

go to your local irish bit of your town and see if you can get a baker to make ya soda bread like an irish version o pitta bread well good stuff
slice it and stick a fried egg bacon and sausages in it loadsa red sauce and eat like a sanwich
