Posted on here for advise on our Florida trip.
Best place to watch a shuttle launch etc.
Went to Titusville in the end for two freezing nights to watch the launch and very worth while it was.

What a fantastic experience, its probably 17 years or so since I saw it take of, the noise is unbelievable when it hits you, wouldn't want to be
much closer!

I'm thinking of going in May (launch 14th) but want to book it last minute in case of delays.
Been 6 times before and its been re-sheduled everytime. This is the last year to see it before its scrapped

yep, canceled once whilst we were there.
We caught the last night time flight.
Only four more launches to go..........ever!

Thanks for taking my comment how it was intended....LOL
I live about 30 mins south of the space center at weekends and in Fort Lauderdal during the week.
We did the Daytona 500 last year and to be honest it was pretty unenjoyable...not bad up until the race, then just very boring....just IMO of
course.
