Royal Mail delivery Office Opening times

Does anyone know where I can go to find out what days and times the Delivery office is likely to be open? I need to collect a package but the only info on the slip is a Phone number that won't work till tuesday and an website which in Half an hour hasn't provided me with any useful infomation.

Whenever I get cards through the door it has the time on it, our local office is 5.30am - 12 noon, don't know if it will be the same for yours, thats monday to saturday excluding bank holidays when they are just shut. HTH

Thanks, so its probably best to try and go in the morning.
I really hate them, I've been up about twenty hours a day waiting for the stupid thing, I gave up and went to bed at half ten this morning and they come round at 11.10 (According to the slip) And I'm working days all next week so I've got to get up at a stupid time in the morning to go and collect it (Slip says I've got a week and then it gets sent back).

Yeah, assuming that all the offices have similar times, I'd be surprised if they were open on monday though, may have to be tuesday!

Mine ( in North London ) doesn't open until 7 am. There should be a notice on the door. I'm guessing they won't be open until Tuesday.

My thoughts exactly.
I'm working 9 till five tuesday to Saturday in the coming week to cover someone (normally work evenings and nights.)
I'm even more annoyed now because my neigbour has just told me he's been in all day and up since 8.

my local one is 8am to 3pm which is completely pointless for anyone that actually has to work for a living.

It's quite common if there are too many parcels to deliver on a particular day or if a relief is on for them to write out all the slips for their round and just post those through (or even stick them in the pigeonholes at the sorting office for the normal postie to deliver). We've had them through when my wife has been waiting in the living room - there has been no ringing of the bell and no knock, the first she's heard is the letterbox as the card drops through and by the time she's reached the door (seconds only) they're in the van and pulling off!

The most annoying thing is that its this week it happened. I don't work mondays and don't normally work early, so any normal week it would just be an inconveniance. Also its an LP and I'm worried about how its being stored at the sorting office.
