What is this thing?
What is the sort of mini caliper-but-not on the rear brakes of this here Koenigsegg CCR?

I think it may be the handbrake caliper, ive seen these on other cars and guessed that what they are. Maybe completely wrong....

I was just thinking that...
I've seen similar things on a lot of cars with huge brakes but it never looked like a caliper to me (sliding or twin-pot fixed).
I guess it's the only thing that makes sense though, those AP racing 6 pots don't have a handbrake mechanism.

Yeah its the handbrake caliper.... could be mechanical or hydraulic

I have seen something like that used on a mk1 mojo as the engine has
been transplanted to the back complete
with all the running gear bits; front discs-
mk1 as less effort to balance brakes and
oops no handbrake.
hence the bolt on goody.
