My last post for a while
I have been putting off writing this post for a while now as i figured it would all blow over but it hasn't.
I have had enough of some of the rude and offensive comments from one forum member so i am not going to visit the forum for a while. I dont want to
name said person as i know s/he has freinds on here and i dont want to upset them.
I would like to thank everyone for their help over the last few years and Chris and Fozzie for this website. I certainly wouldn't have built my
car without it!
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Hope you're still going to keep visiting though? I know what you mean but you don't have to post for a while just keep your eye in and
most of the trolls disappear after a while or move over to pistonheads

Don't let them get to you, such behaviour from some is certainly not warranted, and dissagreements are bound to occur we all have our ways
methods opinions & skills and it is is that which makes this a great place to trade help and ideas, you'll find whoever is
'upsetting' you have none of the above!!

That's not good... pull whoever it is up on their rudeness / offensiveness publicly - we seem to have a decent mix on here and should be able to
sort out most problems between us!

Just ignore the nobber thats winding you up...

Just dont rise to them, dont respond to them....
You get keyboard warriors on all forums on the web.... you just have to take it with a pinch of salt..

the people who run this site should sort it
personel abuse is not nice as it is all to easy to sit behind a screen and type it this is a good site , but as said there are
d**ks in all walks of life
you should put in a complaint and then out them
dont just leave 
when you start this journey
you think it will be done in " no " time but then " no " turns into a " bloody " long time

As said it wouldnt be the same without people doing the different things, and i think well all agree yours i one of the more interesting builds.
Name the person, or talk to him about it, noone else needs to know who it is.

Especially as a lot of us are watching your build as it's a refreshing break from the norm !

Always sad to hear of people leaving a forum because of disagreements. But Speedy can I ask, is it a genuine case of rude comments, of is it the old
problem of something being able to be read a number of ways? I think we are all guilty of that. Could it all be a misunderstanding?

or in real terms you have/are building a car from scratch, and i doubt if 10% of the members on this site have or will ever achieve the same !!
I used to get very wound up by a couple of idiots on this and other sites, especially from idiots who were incapable of building a lego house let
alone a car

There are internet trolls everywhere. Don't worry about them. Some people believe that as its just on the net it doesn't matter what you
say to people.
On all the forums I have been on this is probably the best. Lots of honest, generous people who love to help others. A few slightly spoil it for the
many but you can't let them bother you. Concentrate on all the positive comments above^^^^^. Not on the boring, tiresome internet trolls who
have nothing else better to do.
Besides I really like that vid of the stupidly noises straight 6 you put up.

Just ignore whoever it is.....
You should have seen all of the 'off-forum' comments I had, when some found out that I was female, had built a car....even some
questioning my sexuality......And oh yes.....I have the sheer audacity to have had a National B race licence for quite a few years....Ye Gods.....if
'some' had had their way I would have been burnt at the stake! ....
Speedy do not go.......if you don't feel like writing for a while, just come in and browse around until you feel more up to it.....
