OT android picture upload

Hey guys,

Having a bit of a problem with my phone. I've got a few photos I tried to upload to Facebook this morning via my phone. Most went on fine, but about 8 of them have started uploading but not finishing. So now I'm left with loads of notification saying upload in progress etc. I can't find any way to stop the upload so I'm a bit stumped. Anyone got any ideas? It a HTC desire

Cheers

What are you using to upload the pics, the actual facebook app or via the browser? Clearing the cache might help.

Its in settings>applications>manage applications.

Clear the cache of 'internet' or whatever your browser or facebook app is called. 'Clear data' might clear out other stuff you want left alone.

What version of android are you running?

No cache or no clear cache button highlighted?

Don't know which version, whichever is on the desire as standard. The clear cache button is there, just not highlighted

Is the app still running or have you force stopped it? Or stop it using task manager etc. This is the only gripe I have with android, actually quiting or stopping the app your in if you dont want it memory resident.

That's not limited to androids. I'm running a windows HTC HD mini and it's the same for most apps.

In your facebook settings there'll be a personal email address for uploading pics.
Just send the pic to the email address and add a few words as the topic (this will be the comment left) and it'll publish it to your facebook photo album.
