Fridge freezer help!

Evening. Went to get a minimilk from the freezer earlier and noticed they weren't frozen. Made sure the door was closed properly and left it until now thinking it would be properly frozen. But no. Now liquid mini milks and the rest of the food I'd defrosting. Fridge light still works but fridge didn't seem that cold either..

Any clues please people? Just did massive shop yesterday too and the freezer and fridge are rammed full of food!

They certainly do! Admittedly these are/were the Iceland cheapskate versions!

check the fans are clean and running.this caused a similar problem recently with my fridge/freezer, in my case the fan was accessed from inside the fridge behind a pannel but i think many are at the lower back of the fridge.

dad had similar problem and they (manuf) said turn it off and completely unplug it for about half an hour and it will reset itself?

it did work.

measure twice, cut once, scrap it, start again.

Thanks for that. Can't see or hear any fans. Whole unit just seems dead? Nothing at the back of the fridge either, salad drawers take at the whole space.

My son had a habit of switching it off (we have a switch at the top of the unit inside the door)

Is it a frost free unit, if it is take out the top draw of the freezer and remove the panel above which houses a small fan, usually if these can jam with small particles of ice

Just make sure you un plug it first

Ian, that seemed to have done the trick! The minimilks are refrozen today! Thank you so much, fingers crossed it remains behaved!
