OT. recommend double glaziers in north west
hi all
the missus is pestering me for new windows.
can anyone recommend me a decent supplier and fitter.
whats the likely cost for a typical semi detached.
one that offered nice finance packages would be good too

I ordered from ebay and fitted my own rear windows and back door. It needed doing and I didn't have the money for the fitting. I'm chuffed
that I didn't too as it was a pretty simple job!

Plastech are pretty good.
I've used them twice. Get other quotes though and then askl them if they can match a fictitious one 500 quid lower than their actual quote.
Cost 4-5000. It's bay windows that are the killer.

my advice would be to buy the windows and either fit them yourself or get a local fitter, don't get a firm to supply and fit they'll rip
you off ... upvc windows are quite cheap to buy but these double glazing firms are robbers

should of put that windowplas are in Bolton which is not to far from you in the land of the pie
