Who can still skateboard?

Just taken my little lad out skateboarding..... He's 8 years old.
Pulled my board out from 76 and Im still good at tic tacs and kick flips.
So the question is how many grandkids have a grand pap that can skateboard and mountain bike?

I'm not that knackered yet.!!!!!

I've been skateing and rollerbladeing most of my life so these things come easily to me.

Im returning to unicycle lessons

Cor, that takes me back...ACS Trucks..., Krptonic and Roadrunner wheels...and wooden laminated decks bought from local surf shop (or an ali one made in the dockyard by yer bessie mate's dad )...Oh, and cheap leather palmed gloves from the hardware store (No such thing as B&Q etc. back then! )
I was never much cop, mind... tic tacs, bunny hops and 180's were about all i could manage - Oh and doing 'catermarans' with your mate down the steepest hill you could find (far less traffic in them days..)

When I was a puppy I used to be really, REALLY good at falling off skateboards...

...I was a carp surfer too...

I decided to mess around in boats instead - much more fun, and less bruises and grazes!

The last time I was on one I needed stitches in my arm and an ice pack for my head.

43 and still skateboarding, albeit much more carefully these days. A lot of the old 70s and 80s gear has now been re-issued; Sims, Z-Flex, Powell, Dog Town, Alva etc etc. If you want a real trip down memory lane check out <http://www.middle-age-shred.com/Linky This guy has painstakingly scanned and uploaded every single page of all 17 issues of the magazine (late 70s - early 80s). I can skate to an extent, as in I can roll around the park and fall on my elbow when hitting a small incline!

There were no skateparks in my day so skateboarding meant rolling until you came across a stone about 5mm in diameter which would stop the board dead, so I didn't get this good until I was about 25.. The other worry is the 50kg weight limit on the board (I'm about 3x that)
