Advice Needed Midlands Area
I'm after picking the Locostbuilders brains, at the weekend me, the mrs and three kids (eldest 10) are driving down country heading for France
for our hols, we figure we will need a break somewhere in the midlands where the kids can let off steam for an hour or so to break up the journey.
Can anyone recommend a place (country park or similar) around the M5 M42 M40 South of Birmingham within easy access of the motorway, not looking fo a
theme park or full day job just somewhere with maybe a play park etc that isn't a motorway services. Any suggestions

Worcester Woods Country Park is about 2 miles from J6 of M5 and about 1 mile from J7 to get back on when
you leave. Quite nice and has toilets, cafe etc.

Burton Dassett Hills Country Park is 4 easy miles from the M40 Jn 12 Gaydon.
We love it (we live 6 miles away). Take a picnic, a kite, and you can all run free. It's got decent toilets. Otherwise there's nothing
else but fresh air and views, but it might be what you're looking for.
Pay and display car parking £1.50.
