Good Customer Service
What a refreshing change in this world of 'out-sourced' helpdesks and long waits.
I have a really old Airfix kit, the 4-stroke engine from the 70's Collectors Series, and it is missing some parts. I contacted Airfix (now
Hornby) to see what the chances are of them finding spares as I really would like to build it. Unfortunately they were unsuccessful due to it's
age, but the replies were very quick (within 12 hrs) and they tried their best to find alternatives.
I thought it worth mentioning here because people are always quick to chastise but not so quick to praise.
Well done Hornby
It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

On the James May (Toy Stories?) program where he made a life size Airfix Spitfire, they showed him around the airfix factory. They had a room packed
with old boxes of kits used just to provide replacement parts.
