I need some help guys, i've been sent a .rar file to use as an app, how do I use it? i've downloaded androzip and have managed to get the file from my pc to my phone, I can unpack the file but I can't seem to get it to unpack in the app manager (or where i need to), so as I can use it, any ideas?

Phone is an Orange Sanfransico

try xda developers all you need will be there good luck cheers paul o and unrar on your pc then put file on phone

Android applications have the suffix .apk So you need to unrar your file and copy the APK onto the android phone. Then install it using astro or something.

Just put the rar file onto the sd card and then look for the file with a file manager it will show up and you then just select the file and it will start the install don't unzip it first as that is how most android files come.
