REMINDER!!! Clocks go back TONIGHT!!!!

Don't forget the clocks go back tonight, extra hour in bed (or the garage!) I'm sure my kids will still be up like early birds catching the worms!

About time they left the clocks alone IMHO Leave them one way or the other but stop messing them about.
That means the clock on this site will be wrong for 6months, wonder who will be the first to metion it this winter?

Cameron's suggested that we leave them alone - but now some Scottish MP nutter has decided that it's an English plot to do them down...

So....how many do you get paid for...? Do they dock your pay for working the same hour twice coz you didn't do it right the first time??

When we work through a clock change, we get an extra hour if we work 13 but as we're on a salary, don't get docked for working only 11hrs. And it really winds the non-shift staff as they work normal 8am to 4pm. But when it snows, they get paid to stay at home whilst I'm digging my way through the drifts in the cold dark nights........

As a fellow night guy I'll vouch for that.

Cameron doesn't want to put the clocks to one time and leave it, a private members bill wants to move to European central time for the whole year so the clocks will still move but the sun would rise and set an hour later every day compared to now. The reason Scottish MP's have said it's a bad idea is becaue being further north the difference in winter and summer day lenghts is more pronounced and this plann would mean many people in scotland going to work (And children to school) in the dark for much of the year in exchange for an extra hour of daylight in the evening. When I lived in Glasgow the Clocks going back to GMT made a big difference.

I think we should just stick to GMT.

No sleep in for me Body clock woke up at 412am and come 525am I had to get up. Other half still managed to sleep in till 845 tho.. As our son and girl friend are still in bed, they love the idea of an extra hour sleep!!!
