Does anyone know what is this type of clip is called ??
We are doing a design project at work & one part of it requires something similar to this type of clip:
Clip for work
A colleague brought it into work & we think it would do the job nicely but we have no idea what they would be called or where to start looking for
a supplier ??
Google has been trawled but no joy yet...
Anyone know what it is likely to be called ?
Cheers - Andy

Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

google: male/female platic clip/buckle and select images. You get a fair selection.
Or look at 'plastic buckles' on fleabay. There are 2,688 of 'em. Got to be in there somewhere!

Cheers for the input, that should keep us going for a few hours
One other thing though, we are looking for them in metal rather than plastic.
Keep the ideas coming guys & girls.

Unfortunately it wont quite work with those clips.
We are basically trying to strap a small gas bottle to the side of a stainless steel case (about the size of a briefcase) & it needs to be done as
neatly as possible.
The strap will be to stabilise the bottle to stop it falling over when the stainless steel case is stood on the floor. When the gas bottle is
unclipped they want nothing left attached to the stainless steel case (if possible)
The idea was to maybe just have some sort of slot in the side of the stainless steel case that we could just clip something into rather than something
bolted or welded onto the case.
Apologies if i cant go into too much detail but we are waiting for patent etc.
Keep them coming

How strong does the attachment have to be Andy? With a fair surface area, what about velcro?

My company deals with various types of plastic and metal clips. We are retailers so not the cheapest for whole sale but I maybe able to help with clip
suppliers. Ill get onto it and send info across to you if you want. U2U me to remind me, I very rarly check back on posts that I comment on, only ones
I start!!
For your application, depending on size of bottle, we currently use either a clip or velcro to hold O2 carriers to one of our wheelchair frames and
may be of interest for inspiration. Our clips are curved and very strong, velcro is also easy. We also have a nice black laser cut frame used to house
the bottle in.
