Airdroid --- highly recommended android app
A couple of days ago I loaded Airdroid on to my phone, it knocks the socks off any other file transfer program for Android phones and tablets.

I'll recommend "Torque", with a cheap (£15) OBD2 bluetooth dongle.

The latest update on Torque made it work much better on the interface I have.

That Airdroid is pretty clever!
I had trouble initially as my desktop is hard-wired to my LAN and couldn't see the phone, but my laptop working via wireless could (Most of my
stuff is hard-wired, but I have a wireless access point for the phone and lappie).
