Volvo Ocean Race Game....
Is anyone else participating in this years [virtual] race?
I finished the first leg in 33,000, but I am currently 2000th place in the 2nd leg, that started today!
My boat name is Wibb20
So, how many other armchair sailors do we have this year?

Yup I'm in mate
I screwed up the first leg after missing the start then not being able to get online and change direction caused me to crash 
Blacktip is my boat name.

I'm tempted but can't really dedicate the time - hopefully you all have a good close race and don't get caught out too much in the
doldrums.

Thanks for the add - Im on your port side Blacktip2 - trailing you of course, chancing my arm on the outside of the pack.
Making much better speed offshore than the rest, but for how long ....

Cool, Blacktip 2 wont be as intensly controlled as Blacktip 1, more of alternate than a challenger.
I used a very wide route in the last leg going deep south missing the doldrums and made up 30k places in the end so it can work if the wind is
there.

Help - I cannot find the information on how to pass the gates ? I recall it has to be from east of it, but how far east is ok ?

I don't think it matters.
Goto races tab
then leg 2 briefing it shows it there
