I have the K6 installed on mine. When I first installed it I had a few problems getting it to fire up. I rang Dave Walker at Emerald (although I
didn't buy direct from him) and he emailed me a map to get it running. It fired up on that and ran ok.
Have you rang Dave?

going to ring him tomo tho they supplied a base map when i bought it what engine are you running? the strange thing is
mines 24-2 and only 22-1 is listed. now they said if i select 22-1 it would actually be 24-2!?? sounds a bit random. when i fire it it just spits back
and coughs then fuels up as if the timings out

My setup up is a 2.0L Zetec on Jenveys. Is your timing 180 degrees out? I've seen that before?

Do you have enough juice in the battery? May be a silly question but I had a problem. Also when turning it over do you get a red / green pulsing light
on the side of the ECU?

This is my car on the rollers at Emerald last Jan after the install. Thats Dave in the drivers seat doing his thing. It is a thing of beauty to watch
AND what a difference. Stick with it and you will find something obvious I'm sure.

Get a bog std timing light and check it's firing at the right time with regards to TDC. That'd be your first port of call IMHO
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.
