Delivery company

Following the recommendation on here the other day I thought I would try parcel2go.com for a package. It was outside the dimensions which they quoted on their website so I phoned them yesterday and was quoted £20.56 for the delivery. Having passed this on to the buyer of the item (a Sierra front bumper) he paid me this amount so I called parcel2go today to arrange for collection only to be told they cannot carry the parcel because it is too big.

Despite much conversation with them they will not offer me anything as compensation for the extra this is going to cost me to send via another company. Just a warning to everyone - apparently it is human error on their part, but they won't help me out.

If you need to send a parcel I would suggest being wary of this company - they have google adverts slagging off Parcel Force saying calling them Parcel Farce - seems more like the name I would give to parcel2go.

Sorry for the rant but i am really p***ed off about this. Now to phone the ones who have given me good service in the past - www.postvan.com

I've used parcel2go loads of times with no problems. Have never tried to send anything bigger than their maximum dimensions though.

The problem is that they won't take anything bigger than their maximum dimensions and the person who quoted me forgot to mention this despite it being the only thing I asked about.............

In the spirit of fairness I want to report that parcel2go have now offered me a free delivery as compensation. It isn't worth as much as the mistake cost me but at least it is something.
