All terrain robot

This is interesting in the way they have flexed the legs, like 2 people facing each other. Big Dog

Their running robot on the news is kinda scary. Top speed of 15mph.... I don't look forward to having to run awy from out of control robots :-p. It's the terminator all over again !!

hmm, exactly the opposite to dogs surely? don't all their knees point away from each other where this they knees point towards each other?

its well creepy though, don't think the noise makes it any better...

No, its a bit of an optical illusion with dogs as on their rear legs its acctually their heels that stick out the back that look like knees, but knees do point forward, just like the robot. Allthough to be fair the robot seems to have an extra joint at the top, like a double hip!
