How do I....

Put a link to a URL and see how many times it has been downloaded.

I've seen samples on here but now sure how to post or how they work.

Any help?

TIA

I think you only get the counter with file downloads. PDF, DOC, MPEG etc. You just attach the file to the post as normal. It doesn't work with images though, they're just displayed as normal.

it's just given me the members control centre login screen when I clicked the link. Think that there's a limit to the file size you can attach too.

Instead of attaching a link. Click the Browse... button next to attachment bit when you write a new message, then find the file on ur pc and load it that way, then it will tell you how many times its been downloaded.
