Courier Recommendations.
Hello All. I have agreed to buy a folding bike and need to arrange for it to be collected from Essex and delivered to Nottingham. I am getting some
quotes via Shiply. I would be grateful if anyone here has any other recommendations for a courier service.
Thank you for your help. Chris.

Don't use City Link. They might appear cheap, but only bad experiences from me.

I always use Parcel Monkey or Interparcel.

don't use Yodel, absolutely hopeless.
when things go missing (not if!) their customer service line just lie to you. told me they conducted a driver interview and the driver guaranteed the
parcel was delivered at 3.30 on a thursday, and i got in from work at 2.30 that day, so it definitely wasn't here. the order was resent at
yodels cost with a different courier, and that ewas fine, then 3 weeks later the original parcel turned up in a yodel van. hmmm....

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Thanks for all the valuable information chaps, its appreciated. I will be arranging and paying for the courier, am I right to assume that they will
collect the parcel from the seller or will the seller have to take it to a depot?

Hi , if using parcel 2go be sure to take out full insurance cover ,
have used interparcel and parcel monkey successfully but some won't take pay pal payments, couriers will always collect stuff from address
given, you can use online tracking which will throw up important info if stuff does go astray!

I can recommend MD Couriers.
'bigdave' is a site sponsor on Disco3 Forum that I use. He has picked wheels up from my house before and has a good rep on the
forum.....might not be cheapest but can be trusted.
