Cheshire Ring

Hi All i will be going round the Cheshire Ring soon [ Narrow boat ] and just wondered if anyone else had done this.
If so apart from the pub's where would people recommend to stop and visit

my house backs onto the macclesfield canal next to the marina.
if you come this way u2u me, you can moore up at the garden and ill make you a bru.

Not done the Cheshire ring but narrow boat holidays are great have fun

I've done the southern half, taking a friend's boat from Whaley Bridge to Llangollen. One of my favourite spots is at the bottom of Bosley Locks where the Macc goes over the River Dane. No pub anywhere near though!

I'll ask my 'ol man, he has a narrowboat, and knows 'most' of the uk canal network pretty well. I'll see what he knows about the cheshire ring.

I live in Middlewich, and although I'm not lucky enough to be on the canal itself, I'm only a couple hundred metres from them...

You're more than welcome for a cup of tea, or I could meet you for a pint etc...
