Garage Entertainment

Had someone in the garage today looking at the Coupe.

When they remarked on my rather dated entertainment system.

Radio
Radio

Good thing is it also keeps the garage warm once the valves warm up.
What does everyone else have ?

When I rewired the workshop I put in 4 new speakers and connected them to an old car radio/cd player I had lying about. The radio is powered by a small 12v power supply. It gives out a reasonable volume and is easily heard over any noise I make. I have a PC in the part of the workshop I term as the office which give me access to the Internet when I need to look up things or see whats happening on Locostbuilders.

£20 knackered Tesco CD player that you have to bash to get it to play a CD and auto tunes itself to radio 2!

And an old steam powered Toshiba laptop that has no battery, no USB ports left working and the Wifi doesn't work.

I'm not tight I just have the Beach Boys on repeat and spend all my money on the car.

How do you guys find time to play with Tvs etc!?? When I am in the workshop I am usually so covered in oil and making so much noise bashing bits of metal that the only entertainment I have is to sing to myself in my head...

Just an old laptop via wifi, plays mostly padcasts from Radio Le Mans etc.. Nice to have some car sounds whilst I am messing about under the car. Also handy for that odd bit of googling you need to find out what goes where and how - saves getting the house PC keyboard covered in oily hands.....
