mobile phone guru's

I have a Motorola Defy which requires software installing onto it. To be specific it needs the software that would have been installed to a Motorola Defy on an Orange contract. I have an orange contract which allows me free Sky Sports unfortunately I cant access these as I need the Orange software installing. Can any one guide me on where or how to do this. If I am connected to WIFI I can access Skysports if its 3g then I get a message saying unauthorised

If there is on place in the Universe that has the answer its locost builders
