Which mobile phone

Getting an upgrade so retiring my trusty blackberry, they no-longer cut the mustard.

Choices are narrowed down:

Samsung Galaxy 3S
Iphone 4s

I want to run racecrono, has anyone got this running on either of these, it looks like the samsung is the winner at present as it has a better GPS and you can attached an external collector, what's the collective thoughts.

Please only vote if you have one running this BTW

Cheers Mark

I'd go for the Android, the iPhone is good for someone who wants a phone that does things, whereas if you want a phone you can do anything with, it's the Android. I don't have any experience with an iPhone personally but I'm sure you will get an iPhone POV soon.

The missus has the S2 and it's a cracking little phone, I'm considering the S3 or the HTC one.

I've got RaceChrono installed on my phone and it works as well as it did on the old Nokia it was originally written for.

The truth is ... you have to mess with the phones you want to buy to be absolutely sure.

One more thing, if you do get an iPhone and you talk to someone about it, please refer to it as a phone or even a mobile phone but please never refer to it as 'my iPhone'

Another Android vote here, I got the S2 and I'm loving it. The S3 was good enough to turn two apple-ites to the world of Android, and these guys would have had 'I heart Apple' on their forehead.

I've just gone from an HTC to Samsung Galaxy 3 - a brilliant bit of kit - I would have stayed with an HTC but the latest HTC has a fixed battery and no SD card.

I don't believe the letter i is worth paying all that money for :-)

Couldnt go too far wrong with the new s3. It beats the iphone 4s hands down and has more features than the new iphone 5

My new HTC One X is fantastic From what I've read on a par with the galaxy S3 but the fact I had HTC before and the 25 gig of free dropbox space that comes with the HTC swung it for me (who needs an SD card when you have 25gig internal and 25gig online?!).

Off to look at racecrono now.....

The Galaxy SIII comes with Orange QuickTap (contactless payment), although most of the shops have no idea what this is and Orange are also struggling to get the right SIM to people!
