i feel fu˘Łed. . .

I played rugby today for the first time in a year. I used to play at quite a good level. I wanted to go back and got an invite. Injuries this week include:
Sprained thumb with big swelling and bruising
Pulled neck muscles
Loss of skin behind the ears
Stud scrapes all over my legs
Large blood blisters under both of my big toes
Twisted left knee
Overall aching with top layer of general pain
Heartburn
Drunkeness soon to develop into hangover.

I have also been to a friends 30th and had a little dance. I am now fearful that.i will sleep now and wake up Tuesday.

Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Just do it all again... enjoy....
When you get older, what you're feeling like now is a good day.... as you await the cancer diagnosis.

Buy yes, empathy and sympathy I have in abundance. I track tested the rebuilt engine last Friday, my neck is absolute agony, HANS is next.

Trying it, as I'm none too keen on the alternative (As Maurice Chevalier once remarked).

Get yourself out for a bit of light exercise tomorrow night - a swim would be good if your knees are feeling the pain. It'll get the blood flowing a bit and clean out the lactic acid from the muscles.

Then it sounds like you need to get in the gym for a while and also take to the training pitch to get used to taking the knocks again!
