Ideas for a sliding mount for a large tool chest.

I've a large ( 42" ) tool chest mounted longitudall in the back of the van. The length makes it
quite a atretch to reach the far drawers. So I want to be able to slide it out by about 18".
It has to be fixed down though so it doesn't tip over or slide around so a simple low friction
sheet is out of the question.
A search for ball bearing slides/runners comes up mainly with drawer runners but something
underneath would be better. Needs to be about 150kg capacity.

There must be a reasonably priced off the shelf solution before I spend hours making c sections
with balls or PTFE strips in.

Ideas ??

Two pairs of seat runners should give you enough travel. I have some fitted to seats on EBay...

Find and old breakers yard with commercial trailers. Specifically one with roller shutter doors. The door wheels and brackets and the wall c tracks would be ideal.

Not that much

Liking the seat runners idea, easier to source than a dead truck.

I am currently in the middle of making my workbench in the garage.

I wanted to have some big drawers and given their size will be heavy when full, I wanted a fair amount of extension but couldn't justify the £60 odd quid per set of ballbearing 75% extension drawer sliders so I made my own home brew effort.

They are beefy enough to extend far enough and still manage the weight. They run on some angle which is screwed to the table legs.

The drawer is 4ft wide, 2ft6 back to front and 12 inches deep.

Bearings are 32mm diameter and 10mm wide with a centre bore of 12mm, set into 50x50mm timber.
