R1 4xv power loss
Hi all
On my way to work this morning i was lets say making progress hitting the rev limiter on a few occasions and sustained periods of 11,000 + rpm
when all of a suden the engine just gave up and i came coasting to a halt on luckily my local slip road.Tried starting it and although it was turning
over....nothing.Bit of smoke but i knew it wasn't ceased up.I let the engine cool for 15 minutes,pressed the starter and it eventually
spluttered into life.I,ve since covered another 50 miles today and it hasn't missed a beat.It has plenty coolant fresh oil and full tank of
juice.
Any ideas behind this.Could something have shut down or temporarily failed due to me ragging it?
I,m stumped!!!!
