Trailer size

I am looking to make a trailer or buy one if cheap enough, can anyone advise me the width and length required between the wheels please, Im thinking a minimum of 66 inches for the bed and 13 foot bed length is this about right

I brought a caravan bed from ebay for 50quid, extremely cheap.

This dictated the width between my wheels. My front wheels go through but my rear wheels wont!!

Draw a box around your car for the bed then build up.

Mine

Trailer tilted

It came in at around £850 built using all new stuff, they are proper 10" trailer wheels that sit under the bed so keeps the footprint as small as possible, also as a flat bed useful for carrying other stuff.

The frame is made from pressed U section.
