Made 18 gallons of juice from 120 kilos of apples today. Cider will be ready by xmas. last lot in 2011 was very popular, so fingers crossed!

Ive got 3 gallons on the go at the moment tw mor weeks then filter and bottle again ready for Christmas

Made 5 gallon myself yesterday.

Ph level is a worry but ill sort that tomorrow

Need some tanin too.

I'm adding strawberry in next few days to try make fruit style cider

Fingers crossed :-)

I'm hoping for 8% ish

I find it easier to go to the local corner shop...

and pay £4 for 3 litres of "park bench bovril"....

helps me sleep at night!!

I have a 30 gallons brewing. Apple mix, pear and apple, and hedgerow. It calculated to 8% when I tested it two weeks ago. Yum.
