myhermes problems

I have sent a parcel to a company via my hermes looking at the tracking infomation it says that they have tried to deliver 3 times but the person has never seen them or had a missed card through the door. I then e mailed hermes to ask them what the problem was and what happened now it then took them over 48 hours to respond and they asked for more info.They have been given a contact number and told them they can leave it with another business next door, this was on Tuesday evening and had no reply and tracking infomation has not changed. I am now getting impatient as i have paid for work to be done on the item in the parcel.
What should I do now I am thinking of joining twitter as it seems that they respond to tweets nearly straight away.

to be honest i use them all the time and have had great response from them did you book from interparcel or do you have a hermes account as if its interparcel you have to deal with them also google the post code you have on street veiw you will have an idear what its looks like when they come back as some places have the same post code
we are always getting parcells from a few doors down as the street changes 1 house down

Trouble with a lot of these couriers is they use contract drivers who a.) tell porkies and b.) dont give a sh1t.
Took us a week to get some bits sent on next day delivery by ukmail they said they had left 2 cards one at 8.45 another at 11.15 the day after. Our doors are open from 7.45 till 5.30 and we never saw any cards or any delivery guy.

Tracking details now show that they are to try re delivery tomorrow that may not go well as the place is a business and probably not open tomorrow, will wait and see.
