Non-locost, and totally to do with my work BUT...

Chaps (and I suspect most of the users on here ARE chaps!) I would like to ask for your support if at all possible - in relation to an area of my work this time - not a question about my build!

When i'm not car fettling I work in the general area of crime/bad things reduction work that is covered by organisations other than the Police Force.

We are currently promoting a 'Thunderclap' - which is a social media tool which posts the same message on the Twitter and Facebook feed of everyone who has signed up for it - at the same time on the same day. Boom!!!

We're doing this to coincide with 'White Ribbon Day - 25th November' - which in short - is about MEN saying they will do what they can to help stop violence against women. Sadly I know all the key stats around this and they don't make for good reading: 2 women a week killed by their partner or ex-partner is the one that really sticks in my head.

The link is here, don't worry - it'll only send 1 message from your Twitter/Facebook - you aren't opening the door to spam: https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/6643-suffolk-against-abuse-to-women

Even if you aren't in Suffolk - it'd be great if you'd sign up.

Thanks in advance to all of you that do

Cheers
John

I fully support this initiative. Men who use violence against women aren't really proper men.
