interstellar what did you think?

Tbh I had high hopes, certainly the previews looked good, all the hype about realistic science, especially black holes which I’ve always found very interesting and was the main reason I went to see it.

Unfortunately in reality I felt like I was watching a really really bad episode of Star trek even an extended 3 hours of the gorn!

It started of really very dull, got a wee bit interesting with big waves (a bit of 2012 there without the cool waves going over the mountains), got stupid with a fight (space helmet visors can be hit with a sledge hammer and won’t crack btw NASA demonstrated this) and then the story turned into total and utter bo%%ocks! Felt embarrassed I’d invited the wife along to see it, indeed she may have fallen asleep, I can only hope so.

It does however win the title of the world’s most rubbish robot design, no doubt styled on some sort of vending machine

Really it was as realistic as Alice in wonderland and much less enjoyable

So in summary 3 hours of this is still better than Interstellar.....

Nice heads up, I was tempted to go see it as we don't use the cinema much. Glad you put this up, saves me getting it in the lug!

I'll wait till it arrives on shoebox..

Thats a shame. I love sci-fi and the last time I was dissapointed after the cinema was after seeing PROMETHEUS. I watched the cumbersomely titled Edge of Tomorrow, live, die, repeat on DVD the other day and I really enjoyed it. Assuming you can get over the Groundhog Day rip off that is.
