Boiler problem - HELP

Our venerable Radiation Fuelsaver has developed a problem whereby it will run OK for about half an hour then the burner goes out but re-lights in rapid succession.
That continues until I turn it fully off for a time.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
I do have a stock spare parts but it's knowing where to start......
TIA, Pewe10

Google the problem with the model number and it should throw up some suggestions.

Thanks guys, fortunately I have some spares in stock so will look them out.
BTW what grease/sealant is used around the thermo couple?
Not going anywhere near gas items.
Cheers, Pewe10.

Called in the cavalry.
Bobby of Yellow Gas Services in Caversham came highly recommended and I now know why.
It took him about 5 mins to diagnose a faulty mother board and ten minutes to change it for the known good one I had in stock.
He narrowed it down by voltage testing the two gas solenoids. One was on 240 whilst the other rapidly fluctuating and since both need to run 240 or the system fails safe and shuts down. Probably caused by a faulty solenoid on the motherboard.
Anywho we were back up and running last night though the house still feels cool having lost heat out of the house fabric in 24hrs. Victorian houses don't you just love 'em?
Cheers, Pewe10
