Isle of Man TT
The TT is on my bucket list, I've been to the Isle of man before for the Manx Rally but not the TT.
I know its an expensive trip now and its difficult to find somewhere to stay etc But its on the list and needs to be done.
Can anybody offer some tips on the best way to get there etc ?
Last time we went to the island we flew from Liverpool and picked up a hire car at the other end, We then stayed in a B & B.
Thanks for any advice.

I go each year but dont do the planning or booking.
Previously camped but have a house this year on the track.
Always by ferry.

You are leaving things very late if you want to go this year. The Steam Packet (a.k.a. Steam Racket) ferry
company have just released the reserved tickets that have not been paid for in full so you may be in luck if you book ASAP. These get snapped up
extremely quickly! Prepare to be stunned by the cost of the tickets though.
You can try the IOM TT Breaks/ website to see if you can find accommodation.

Here is how I did it -
As I had a VW camper T4 (which are available in UK to hire and good prices) we went to the IOM VW club event called circle yer wagons.
They had a deal with the steam packet for cheap prices, so you went to their event but you could come back any time you wanted.
This normaly is the same weekend as start of TT practice.
After the VW event was over which was located in the rugby club grounds at Kirk Michael we gave the groundsman a few quid and stayed there for the 2
weeks.
Check if they still have this event
