Weird, must because of our work proxy blocking the links but if i view this thread in firefox I don't see any pictures at all not even
placeholders. Viewed with IE i can see 4 placehoders but still can't see the piccy's

Hi peteff
I still say it is an indian mynah bird , the shot is clearly Australia and it is also probably Queensland , my part of the world . the birds body is
brown and the white you see is reflection of the flash and the area around the eye is clearly yellow as is the beak see my pictures to compare

Definitely Australia and definitely an Indian Mynah. Those things are as common as sparrows here. Stick you head out the door and you'll see at
least 5 or 10.
As for where in Australia, niceperson709
could well be right, but as Australia doesn't change one jot from one end of the island to the other, it's a bit difficult to tell.
