Blood doning
I found myself in an unusual situation this week, I had to go into hospital for an unexpected blood transfusion and received 2 units of blood. I had
been a donor for many years but never expected to be on the receiving end. I expect many people on here are donors but if you have been thinking about
doing it and keep putting it off please just do it.
For those old enough to remember Tony Hancock he said something like 'Its just like an ordinary bank, put it in when your flushed, take it out
when you need it.'
Phoned the local ramblers club today, but the bloke who answered just
went on and on.

U used to be a regular donor, with about 15 deposits, but due to my frequent trips to Nigeria they won't accept my blood anymore. Never had to
make any withdrawals luckily.
Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.
