Man From Uncle.

I would have been tempted to say The Prisoner for obvious reasons, but I would have been lying.

The Man From Uncle though - that was real. For me anyway.

I've never seen most of the shows listed, but did get hooked on The Prisoner. It's an almost unheard of series in the US (at least nobody I know has ever heard of it). I actually rented a few episodes because of some interviews with members of Iron Maiden, who mentioned it as an influence in a few of their songs. Now most of the episodes are part of my DVD collection.

Who are you?
The new #2.
Who is #1?
You are #6.
I am not a number, I am a free man!

Then of course there was 'Space 1999' - that shape shifter was a bit of a babe.

OR.

There was 'UFO'. There were quite a few babes with tight suits in that.

Not exactly cult stuff though were they? Hardcastle and McCormack, come on. He was in Dead Man Weds with Johnny Vegas and Dave Spikey not long back. The BBC are running a survey to find the best decade in television at the moment. http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/tvontrial/
Get on there and vote. edit:- Sorry that was the Dempsey and Makepeace bloke, shows how memorable they were though.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
