Are you only after rover installation stuff or do you want some "In-a-seven" numbers?

Not counting the FreeLander options the that could be one of 5 different manual 5 speed boxes --- 2 variations of the awful Pug box, the excellent Rover Midland Pg1 which comes with or without LSD and the later Getrag box.

Discounting the original early 80s notchback 216 - The late 80s to mid 90s 216 hatch and original shape 416 were all Honda powered.

Newer shape late 1996 on 200 1.6 used a Rover K16 engine with the slightly heavier duty version of the Pug 205 geabox. In the 200 series the Pug box hasd a bell crank & rod gearchange -- not a great gearbox.

The later shape 200/25 1.6 changed at some point around 1998 to the much better Getrag box which has cable gear change.

200/400 1.8 have the Honda inspired PG1 gearbox (good for 200 bhp) but the 25/45 1.8 changed around the launch of the Rover 75 to the Getrag box.

75 1.8 manuals all have the Getrag box

MGT and TF have PG1 gearbox.

Pug gearboxes used in the 214 and 200 1.4 have a cable clutch release.

PG1 gear boxes can be converted from cable to hydraulic clutch release using parts from a Rover 820. The 820 Vitesse also has a viscous LSD that can be swapped in.

Getrag boxes seem have an hydraulic clutch accross the range.
