Chat room usage.
Why does nobody use the chat room on here?
Perhaps we could have a timetable for chat on various topics on set days/times.
Just thinking aloud really.
Thoughts anyone?

theres a chat room?
oh so there is at the top! i have never really used chat rooms. the only real time chat i use is with messenger.
i guess the main limitation is the times people come on. i am a student so i can come on at various times. but i would think so people are limited to
what times they can chat.
are chat rooms blocked at peoples workplaces?

I think at various times people have tried the chatroom but we found it unreliable and with the widespread use now of MSN Messenger most people tend
to use this.
If everyone maybe added their MSN address to their profile then we could all use this.

Used to use chat, but i dont think Chris ever had time to develop it, which is fair enough.
I use MSN, and am usually online if i am not working.

I do use msn a bit with my mates, but I don't want to send someone a post just coz I'm bored, coz what if they're busy, but on the
chatroom if they are there you can chat coz that's what they are there for

MSN for me. Im usually online when in the office.
We use it to good effect when communicating with the Chinese Project team. Saves a fortune in telephone calls and easy to patch other people in for a
mini conference. You just have to remember to give people the chance to reply.

It's a bit strange after you've been it the chat room for a while it seems to stop refreshing the page and it seems like your leaft with
no one chating to you but really they are waiting to an awnser to a question you never heard
so be warned if you've been chatting for a while and it starts to get quiet try a page refresh to bring you back in.
