Can someone identify these wheels?
Just bought on Ebay. They are described as 15" x 8" Abarth Alloys but I doubt it, the only thing Abarth about them is the sticker. Look
similar to Abarth Daytonas but they werent split rim..
Starting to think (wish!) they are Simmons racing wheels, made in Australia. If so they were a bargain at £90!
Anyone give me any pointers?

from memory they look like ATS wheels from the late 80s/early 90s, have seen them fitted to golf's and audi's.

Ray is spot on. These wheels were optional extras on sport audis and quattros in the late 80s and early 90s.
If at first you don't succeed, hide all evidence you ever tried!

Very nice wheels. Good purchase.
Are you sure they are split rims? I got some wheels recently that looked like split rims but the bolts were actually plastic push in look-a-likes (i
knew they werent splitties when i bought them - viewed first). I removed the plasic jobbies and fitted polished stainless cap heads after they were
blasted and painted - made them look a lot smarter. As a bonus the plasic studs were in M8 tapping size holes.
If they are ATS's they are very good wheels. They also did the ATS Cup alloys for Golfs which IMO were the best old school wheel available for
the Mk1.

If you are referring to speedlines found on Audis (including mine)... They look different like these...

They look similar to some ATS wheels but not exactly the same. The ATS have bigger centre hub section and there arent any split rims (or lookelike)
in that style.
Here are the ATS wheels:
Here are some Simmons wheels:
Still confused! Has anyone got a pic of the oldschool audi or golf rims to compare?
Oh well, whatever they are, I think they look BO!
