Got me a new toy :-)
Picked up a MIG set at the weekend had a play with it and it seems very good. It is a SIP MigMate 130, the new model with the metal wire guide.
Well, tomorrow I going to pick up some metal and have a go at making a workbench, while learning to mig weld at the same time
will post pics as soon as it is done

May seem obvious but make sure you get the correct clobber to wear including decent gloves. Have fun.

and don't forget, just cause the metal isn't glowing red, doesn't mean it isn't feshuckeoing hot!
oh, and if you hold hot metal with your gloves on, then your gloves get feshuckeoing hot, dropping the metal doesn't make the gloves cold!
