Reading Material

Hiya all,

Can anyone suggest some reading material dealing with chassis and or suspension design?

I'm going into borders later but need a few titles to ask about.

I'm sure I saw on here a list of books on the subjects a while ago but I'm b***ered if I can find the thread now.

Cheers in advance guys (and girls)

One I found very useful this year while doing my chassis project was this:

Chassis Design: Principals and Analysis; William F. Milliken and Douglas L. Milliken, Professional Engineering Publishing Limited © 2002 ISBN: 1 86058 389 X

Another handy one:
Race Car Chassis Design and Construction, Forbes Aird. ISBN: 0760302839, © September 1997, Motorbooks International

(References taken from my report. If you want any on composite chassis design I have a few of those too )

Cheers,
David

il second that , ive had fred puhn,s book for years and it makes good reading, i built adjustable anti roll bars for my old v8 avenger and put some softer springs back on and transformed the car after reading the book, a bit thin onchassis design but all the principles are there,, well worth the money!
