In the sprit of locost!!
recently ou house had to mow our lawn, we are meant to keep it cut short, however when the grass is reaching 2 foot in height this is pushing it abit
so we cut it down.
this left alot of grass on the lawn which needed raking. not being the type to buy a rake. we made one the locost way with an old mop, a chopping
board a bike wheel and a whole lot of string!
surprisingly it worked really well and have now put it proud of place on our mantle piece. (yes strange i know) since this is the only locost thing i
have done recently i wanted to show u all!

Could you give me more information on what grade and size of wood you have used for the cross pieces as I am considering building one myself. Do you
think it can be built for under £2.50? Do you know if there are many to be found on ebay as part finished projects that i could maybe pick up cheap?
And finally would you consider producing these in kit format for the members of the forum who are tight on time?
Many thanks,

sorry its been put on a Pedestal now! but i can supply plans and instructions for anyone whos interested! we made it for free out of junk, so £2.50 is
over budgeted.
