extended test drives....

Morning all,

Me and SWMBO are looking at buying a new car in the next few weeks, and although we are more than likely going to go for another Fabia Vrs, I was thinking that it might be an idea to test drive a few others first.

I'm not a fan of having a 5 minute drive round the block though, and would ideally like to spend a bit m ore time behind the wheel so i can make my mind up properly.

So, does anyone know of anywhere that offers extended test drives, preferably around NorthWales/Chester, but also around the Telford area too?

Cheers
Andy

vauxhall were doing a 3 day test drive with 100 miles per day limit up until the end of last month.

Try your local vauxhall dealer and try to get an astra or tigra twin top - I only managed to get a 1.6 astra 3 dr but it was nice putting some miles on somebody else car for 3 days

If i was you id go for the traditional test drive to short list and then before making final purchase tell the sales person that you want a longer drive. I went out in a new Golf far about 40 minutes and then still didnt buy it. If they want the sale they will allow a longer drive but maybe not until you have shortlisted and returned.

at the first convenient moment push the sales assitant out of the car and drive as long as you want. if you get caught later, then you will get free board and lodgings at one of HM establishments, colour telly too
