Oh yeah, 7th of the 7th.

My wife was thankfully not involved but was in London at the time.

1 min silence.....

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

What annoyed me a bit were the Evening Standard sellers' hoardings that said "London's commuters carry on bravely" or something similar. My train was 1/3 empty this morning, and I'm sure it wasn't due to the weather forecast.

Not that I blame anyone for choosing to stay at home today... it was grim on that day, waiting in a spookily silent crowd outside Liverpool St station for the barricades to come down so that we could go home.
