When my missus did that to me i thought i could finish my car in the 8 months. Its not done now and my daughter is 13 weeeks old.

Congrats on the news 
I have a 7 month old son, who put a serious brake on my car building activities for awhile, but he's worth every second of it. He sleeps
through now (has done from about 8 weeks), so the evenings are back on for car building.
Hope all goes well and my advise would be to do as much of everthing as you can before the arrival.
