Anyone live in or around Kettering?
Next weekend I'm moving to Kettering from Weymouth where I'm going back to skool at the ripe old age of 24 and as some of you know am
doing a full time Motorsport Race Technician course with the National College of Motorsport in association with Tresham College of higher ed based in
Corby. I'll be travelling up to the Silverstone circuit from Kettering but I was just wondering if there was much there... (an internet cafe for
a start) When I google I only really get the council website and junk like that. I'll be staying in the medical student accommodation of
Kettering hospital (yes that means student nurses!!) I've had a quick scoot around the town but am more interested in a snooker club or where
the decent pubs are too etc. (for when I've done all my homework of course ) If anyone knows owt I'd love to hear it. Thanks alot,
Russ.

Im a couple of miles up the A14 from Kettering.
its an ok town but not really very exiting, there are plenty of pubs however and at least one small internet cafe , a decent multi screen cinema, ten
pin bowling, a couple of snooker clubs that I know of, swimming pool and all the usual type places. The busier pubs are in the town centre in a small
area and get very busy at weekends.

No
But my Uncle lives near Corby
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I live in Wellingborough and work in Corby. I don't really want to tell you where my Uncle lives, but his name is Bob.
So Bob is indeed my Uncle.
As Paul says, come along to the group meeting.

I used to live in Corby but moved to Doncaster for work.
Kettering is OK but avoid Corby as it is overrun with immigrants.
Summer's here!!!!

Yeah, sweaties mainly!
My uncle used to be a copper in Corby, a lovely beat I'm sure
Having just been on holiday at Sea Barn Farm camp site near Weymouth I feel slightly qualified to say you ought to find the traffic a little easier
around Kettering.
